Your Wisconsin Vacation Guide
 You need a Wisconsin Vacation!
This site is for the work-weary, the romantic couple, or anyone who craves an escape from the rat-race to a slower pace, fresh air and the natural beauty that a Wisconsin vacation can offer.
I come from a pretty large family by today’s standards and back when I was growing up, my parents worked hard to give us everything they could. Dad worked overtime almost every week and Mom worked, too. Despite the size of our enormous brood, my parents always managed to give us a wonderful Wisconsin vacation. Thinking back on it, those Wisconsin vacations were some of the best memories of my life.
Each summer we would pack our station wagon to bursting and manage to get all five kids, Mom, and Dad in the car and hit the road Up North to our own Wisconsin vacation. For at least two weeks each year, we would spend our days in the sun on the water, either fishing, water skiing or swimming, and when we weren’t found in our bathing suits, you could find us hiking in the woods, taking long strolls along tree-lined lanes, or just hanging out in the cabin playing cards, games or reading books. 
When the sun started going down, we would have a fish fry with the catch of the day. The fish was always incredible no matter who did the cooking—in fact at that age, it was the only fish I would eat! The fish is that good.
Afterwards we would have a campfire complete with ghost stories and roasted marshmallows. The sounds of crickets, frogs and loons on the lake would fill the quiet Wisconsin evening, and we always got the deepest, most peaceful sleep ever. After all, fresh air and sunshine is the best thing for a rowdy bunch of kids.
Our family is all grown up now and we’ve moved to different places in the country. My sister not only continued our family tradition, she surpassed it. She and her husband have carefully selected gorgeous wooded land and her husband personally built two romantic getaways in Wisconsin. I hope you will visit her cabins for a week or two—whatever time you can spare—either with your own family or someone you care about. I will tell you why her cabins are the best and why her prices are very reasonable. You will be impressed. She has incredible taste.

And if you have or want a cabin of your own, I intend to provide useful things for you, too. It will take some time to build things, so please bookmark this page and come back often to watch it grow.
I am dedicating this work to my family but especially to my sis. I hope this begins to pay back some of those favors I owe and to rectify those childhood differences . . . by the way, did I ever give you that shirt back? Ahem, well . . . like I said, hopefully this will begin to rectify those matters, as well.
 It is also dedicated to all those souls who, like me, need a place to go to get away from it all every once in awhile.
