Atlantis Waterpark Hotel Wisconsin Dells is on the . . . Strip? Well, not unlike the Vegas Strip, the Wisconsin Dells has a Strip running the length of Wisconsin Dells Boulevard. It is packed with major resorts, theme parks and shows. Less than a mile to the east of Mt. Olympus, lies Atlantis Waterpark Hotel. Wisconsin Dells has long been known for its family entertainment and draw dropping amusements. In fact, back in the day, penny arcades lined the streets where people would stroll along, browsing art galleries while sipping a cool beverage. Today, the Dells is an adrenaline rush. Everywhere you look, there is something to do, see and experience.
Families with young children may not necessarily enjoy the assault of excitement that exists on some of the Strip and may actually seek a calmer, more peaceful location to enjoy fun and quality time with the kids. Atlantis Wisconsin Dells may be what they're looking for.
Decorated in a fantasy/mermaid scheme, this resort features two-room suites with whirlpool and fireplace, stereo and large televisions which are perfect for families. For the more budget-minded, they have value priced rooms as well. The two indoor waterparks sport a 16,000 square foot Aquakingdom featuring two 40 ft waterslides and a 5 ft toddler slide. There is also an indoor coral reef lagoon with volcano slide as well as a poolside bar and grill and game room. There's an outdoor water park with two water slides and waterfalls, too. All rooms have a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and pay-per-view movies.
At Atlantis Waterpark Hotel Wisconsin Dells, you're still on the main thoroughfare, but in this resort, things are scaled down and a bit more quiet. Adults can have their fun while their small children play. If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to a nightclub or drive a short ways to the bigger, bolder resorts, too.
