Mt Olympus Wisconsin Dells
Mt Olympus Wisconsin Dells is a water and theme park resort located in the heart of the Dells Strip. It is so big you can see the Trojan Horse from miles away. You may remember from your Mythology lessons not too long ago that the real Mt. Olympus is located in Greece and was believed to be the home of the gods. Well, if you think in those terms, you will get a very accurate mental of what this resort looks like.
As I said, Mt Olympus Wisconsin Dells is big. That Trojan Horse I referred to is actually 55' feet tall and part of a gigantic roller coaster that sits on the outer edge of the resort complex. It's actually in Zeus' Playground Outdoor Theme Park which also includes batting cages, bumper boats, Hades (the World's longest underground roller coaster featuring a 90 degree banked turn in complete darkness), the world's largest go-kart complex with elevated tracks and lots of other things that make you flip and turn and fly upside down.
At Mt. Olympus Wisconsin Dells, there is also The Parthenon Indoor Theme Park featuring Opa, a 45-foot tall steel twister roller coaster spinning at 35 mph . . . indoors! Now that's gotta be scary. There's also indoor bumper cards, the Alien Ball Pit, an arcade and mucho more fun things to do – even when it's 20 degrees below zero!

Now here's what's really awesome at Mt Olympus Wisconsin Dells, but you have to go during the summer. Poseidon's Rage. Remember the Greek god of the sea who also moonlighted as the "Earth Shaker?" Well that's the same Poseidon being used here. Only now, this guy conjures up 1.5 million gallons of water every 90 seconds, creating a "megalodonic nine-foot wave." "Fear the wrath," is the tagline for this tiny wavepool. (Not.) I'm being facetious. Poseidon's Rage is one of the largest wavepools in the world, so if that gives you an indication of the size, perhaps you really should "Fear the wrath," as they say. So that's situated inside Neptune's Outdoor Waterpark along with Demon's Drop, Dragon's Tail, Twister, Corkscrew and some 16 other amazing rides, slides, and watery adventures.
At Medusa's Indoor Waterpark you'll find a lot of snakes: Anaconda, Boa, Cobra, and Diamondback. Do you know why? It's because this lady was a monster with snakes for hair. Remember that if you looked directly at her you would turn to stone? And remember that she was slain using a mirror? Remember? Of course you do. Anyway, that's why there are so many snakes in the waterpark – I mean snake NAMES. I'm sure there are no real snakes there. (he he) Aside from all that, there is a whirlpool, a water walk, a hot tub and shallow pool called the Hispaniola Bay. Excellent. So at Mt Olympus Wisconsin Dells you can go in the winter and get as wet as you want because in Medusa's park, everyone is welcome to slither around in the pool! :)

Now after all that swimming and riding and running around at Wisconsin Dells Mount Olympus Resort, you must be starved. That's why there are so many nice places to eat, such as Tidal Wave Concessions, Admiral Benbows Grille, Greek Tycoon, BFG Pizza Joint, Medusa's Café, Delphi, the Food Lagoon, Kaffe OPA! And Pandora's Candy. Yum. With all those options, I'm sure you'll find something good for your tummy, regardless of budget or taste. Once you've had a bite, you can do some shopping and head back to your room. Hotel Rome is proud of its large, themed rooms and also offers economy accommodations for those on a budget.
So with all this mythological fun, perhaps this getaway, it's time to visit Mt. Olympus Wisconsin Dells.
