Wisconsin is Total Relaxation

What a wonderful state! Came to Rockford, Illinois to visit my companion's family and ended up staying in the Wisconsin Dells. I would have been very happy staying out on our balcony over looking the river and watching the boats go by. It was the most peaceful time I could have imagined but we needed to go see everything that the dells had to offer. Hated to leave the hotel.
We stayed at River Walk. The room wasn't that great but the people who worked in that hotel made up for the not-so-great room with a beautiful view. I will always want to stay at that hotel when I visit again. Ended up going on the Upper Dells Boat Tour, which was more relaxation, then going on the ducks! What a great time we had on that! Had to go in search of a great cheese shop and locals told us about the Mouse House Cheese Store! We bought way too much and ended up sharing it on the plane ride back to Florida. There's a casino close by as well. The best thing was just driving around to different little towns.
Wisconsin is just beautiful. We could only stay about three days but next time will plan on a much longer time. The scenery alone is worth the trip and the locals are so friendly. If I thought I could drive in the snow and get used to the harsh winters I would gladly relocate from Florida. And if I ever were to win the lottery you would find me in Wisconsin!
